free facial

In the summer of 2001 my newborn daughter was running a fever so, like most moms, I took her temp.  As you know, with a baby you have to take the temp rectally.  Just as I pulled the thermometer out my little girl shot poop onto my forehead.  I was so shocked and the phone starts ringing.  Like an idiot I answered just to hear my husbands voice on the other end of the line.  I tell him whats going on and I dont think he is ever going to stop laughing.  I guess that was the first facial I ever had done.  LOL

thats the story of my life...

This is my first time blogging but Im hoping to keep it up.  Im a stay at home mom and boy do I have some crazy stories to share with the world.
I have a daughter, Erica who is 12 and a son, Luke who is 4.  My hubby is a successful computer programmer and the absolute love of my life.  When my daughter was born we decided I would only work if I wanted to.  I jumped around from piddly job to piddly job.  Most of the time my "jobs" would cost us more money then I was contributing so after becoming a victim of Crohn's disease it was decided for me that  a stay at home mom it is.
So now that you know a bit about me and my family Ill start right in with the funny and sometimes disgusting story of my everyday life.
When I was expecting my daughter, I like so many other first time moms, had no idea what to expect during delivery.  So, like an idiot, I googled common birth issues.  Did you know lots of woman poop on themselves and the doctor during delivery???  I sure didn't.  The thought never crossed my mind.  So now I have one more thing to worry about.  My nerves were shot the day Erica decided to make her debut.  I was so worried about the delivery and trying not to poop on anyone that rest was not going to come easy.  The sweet little nurse came in to check me out and see how far things were getting.  She starts her exam and all of a sudden I fart like a man!!!  To say I was embarrassed is the understatement of the year.  She was so nice and understanding about it.  She kinda giggled and said "Oops, my fault.  I moved wrong."  I dont care what she did, I just farted on this poor lady.  I know she was only trying to make me feel better but yeah like that was happening...  Even though I was told at that point its time for a c-section and I was totally scared in a strange way I was quite relieved that pooping on anyone was not going to happen from this patient.
